Default maf vs map

Has anyone switched from a aftermarket maf sensor to map system and whwt were the noticeable differences if any?

Plenty of comparisons in the archives. If you already have a MAF, there's minimal benefits to be gained with going to a MAP setup (the primary restriction of the AFM has already been removed). However, if you've have trouble dialing in a flat air-fuel ratio curve with 4-**** adjusters, then the 3D mapping capability of the MAP kits gives you LOAD vs. RPM zone-adjustments like aftermarket EFI systems. A simpler method would be to upgrade your existing MAF to full Digital 3D mapping with our GURU Digital-MAF upgrade. I dialed in TonyG's supercharged-968 to give a perfectly flat air-fuel ratio curve with a single dyno-run last month using this digital-MAF upgrade. Before that, he was struggling for about a year to find a set-up that would allow precision fuel-adjustments.
