How worn are your front tires? I once had a really bad set of Michelins (came off a car that had a bunch of negative camber, the wear pattern was rather interesting) on my previous 944S, and it was an absolute nightmare to drive on a highway - even a simple lane change was scary, the tires just sucked into the grooves on the road and jumped out very violently. Completely cured by a new set of same tires...

Your headlight problem is definately your relay (I'd put money on it). Mine use to have the same problem before replacement. They would cycle up/down continuously until you turned them off. Sometimes tapping the relay with a hammer will temp fix this. Worth a try, although light relays are relatively cheap.

I agree with the relay. I just opened the relay and cleaned the contacts with 600 grit sandpaper. (4 contacts) It has been working smoothly for a couple of months now. The work only took about 10 minutes.

Thanks guys for the advice I replaced the relay and so far so good.
As for the tires they are badly worn on the inside due to a misalignmnet. It had a bunch of negative camber for a bit.
