Default Kansas City 944 mechanics needed

Hi Guys
I have a local kid here ( orig from the Bay Area ) who thinks he may have broken his timing belt
He is a novice and really doesn't know much about these cars
He has a 1989 944 S2 that is located in KC and wants to get it fixed there.
He was living there for a year and bought the car there.
Any help as to who might be able to help him get the car fixed would be great
I don't know what to tell him ..
I remember way back when there was a very nice knowledgeable guy here on Rennlist but his name escapes me ( because I have CRS )
I think his avatar used to say KC wrenching society
Thanks in advance
Regards
Ed

I think you are referring to PorscheDoc. I had a sheet from him about resealing the hatch. I also found an active blog. Hopefully you can get the proper help. Going through a timing belt failure myself right now and feel his pain.
