have a turbo here that was sent in error, but im just trying to identify it...

its a k27 6 but with some anomalies

my understanding is the #6 housing exhaust outlet should be 50mm the #8 housing 56mm

the housing i have here is a #6 housing but the exhaust outlet is 60mm the wheel itself looks to be 56mm (like the wheel on the #8)









and this is what i found elsewhere

Exhaust housing has a number punched on the interior surface close to flange. Looks like #6 machined to accept #8 wheel.

there is a 6 stamped in the housing, and it is the size of a 8 wheel,

what sort of power would this make compared to a k27 6 and k27 8?

Somewhere in between. I think it's a great combination, K27#6 can be restrictive.

Per your measurements in the photos, that is not where you measure the difference in size for the turbine housing.
