I believe you need 1" spacers on all four corners for the 86' to use late offset rims. And longer studs.

Or get a membership and ask the listers, you may get a better deal in the end.

Aside from spacers / longer studs it is highly recommended that you update the caster blocks to the 968 part. Also make sure the bushings / ball joins in the suspension are in good shape, the large 18s are going to put a lot of added stress on the suspension.

I have the same wheels. I run 1" spacers on all 4 corners. With soft (stock) suspension it'll rub a tiny bit on the inside of the wheel well in the back when accelerating and hitting a bump (like an expansion joint on a bridge). It's gotta be both accel and bump at the same time, other than that they don't rub.

Also the car is slower. You'll feel the difference because of the weight and higher inertia of the wheels. And it's not as comfy. Pot holes and bumps hit pretty hard compared to 16's. But they look fantastic!!!!

Not sure if they will work for you, but I have a pair of 2" spacers for sale.

You should consider how you use the car.

Spacers this large are not allowed in most track events.

There is now an entire extra set of lugs to check and torque.
