Does anyone have one of these in their car? Am thinking of getting it, one gauge to rule them all.

Yup yup. I've been using the AFR, boost/vac modules hooked into a their display module.

I bought a 968 cubby and put the gauge behind the plastic for the clock so it looks completely stock. PM me your email if you want a pic.

Couple things: they're pretty expensive. Also don't run your antenna wires anywhere near the modules or their wires. Our cars have bad reception but they manage to pick up a ton of noise from the PLX stuff.

Also don't hook it up backwards (wiring +12v and ground). sounds obvious but I made a stupid mistake when I was re-routing the wires away from the radio antenna and fried all 3 modules ($500). There is no reverse polarity protection, just a pop and some magic smoke.

I'm doing exactly what Phill is doing with the 968 cubby.
I'm using a dm-100 so i can use a custom display
At the moment i only have 2 modules
a temp module with 2 sensors (oil + water temp)
boost vac module.
I plan on getting the AFR one. and possibly oil pressure.

For data logging. I'll be hooking up the most common sensors to my LM-2
But this is where it gets tricky.
The LM-2 has 4 analogue inputs + AFR + RPM
I want to log AFR, RPM, TPS, BOOST, AFM V+, OIL TEMP, OIL PRESSURE.
Which means i need to work out how to get the AFR input on the LM2 to read the signal from the PLX module.

For me the great thing about using the PLX devices is the single gauge displaying what i want it to display. Not having to keep the LM2 always plugged in and taking up space in the glove box.

nice! i searched for your install pic

but those 968 cubbys are expensive on Ebay! I'll just find a random spot, maybe fabricate a single-din plate.
