Cool '86 951 for sale! Beautiful!

Guys - this has got to be one of the nicest 951s I have ever seen! It was originally owned by Alan Lavut, President of Triton Leasing in Beverly Hills. He had this puppy modified, widened, very sexy rims, and you use a keyless entry, etc.

For an asking price of $12,500 for an '86 951 Red Guards with 66K miles, I wish I could afford it! I just received in the mail an article it was in, from the '94 September Edition of 911 & Porsche.

If you are interested, just please tell them I referrred you. No, I get nothing back, just don't want the guy to feel he wasted his time in getting info to me! I can't afford it, so I'm passing the info on to you:

If you like, I can scan the article and email it to you.

No offense to anyone, but those wheels look like azz.

I bet the rest of the car is nice, though........

Imperial Beach Motor Cars should buy an Rennlist ad.

What was the 1994 article about? Is the car notable in any way?

And who is Alan Lavut, President of Triton Leasing? Should I know him?

I also agree. Those rims make the car look very ugly.

If I pretend the car has rims that dont suck, the car looks nice... Unless he wants to sell the car to a gangsta playa... those rims have _got_ to go.

I think the only thing that would be worse is daytons. the horror!

Without those extra-wide rims the body kit will look bad. And there aren't many later rims that will fit the 86.

I'd rather have Paul Bloomberg's GT2 killer. Or DFastest's GT2 killer.

I don't have any interior pics, I'd have to go there and take them myself. Rims can always be replaced, so who really cares .

Yes, I'd rather have DFastest's, but only ONE of us can win it, you know!

The dealer has had the car for at least 10 days, so I figure there's always room for debate. I have the articles, but what I told you earlier was the most important.

But I'd definitely want a 951 mechanic to look that over with a fine tooth comb before I purchased it, just to be on the safe side.

Tom, the guy with Imperial, I turned him onto Rennlist today, and suggested it might be worth purchasing a membership. if he comes online, he can see people want more pics, and give additional info. I don't live in SD, or I'd take the pics myself.
