Wow, thats def. a great deal. I have the money, but not the 951. The other guys deserve a shot at it more than I do. Or else that $400 would have been paypal'd 5 minutes after.

Pauerman - did that MAP kit come from Guru or SFR? How long have you had it..? The reason I'm asking is because your J-pipe seems a bit different from what I've got (polished, different hose mount points, different adapter for fitting to the turbo) ... I'm just curious

Sami,
When I was comparing MAP kits before buying, I decided that since Link was selling the pre-programmed boxes to all vendors, the only difference in these kits was the chips, j-pipe and price of course. I had already upgraded to the Guru chips, and for me, it was very obvious who made the best J-pipe. The build quality and finish of the SFR pipe is second to none and simply, at the time, blew away Guru's offering.
I understand that SFR has now been contracted to make J-pipes for Guru, but when I bought my kit this was not the case. In the end, the extra $ for the SFR pipe was a "no brainer"
Also, Tim at SFR was much more flexible with selling me individual Link components rather than a "all or nothing" complete MAP kit. I respect Tim's business ethic and it is the reason I have and will continue to do business with SFR. Tim sells some kick *** products and he takes care of his customers. I bought my MAP kit from Tim. It was on my car for about 700 miles.

is sfr and guru the only ones selling the link2 computer?ive seen handhelds a lilttle cheaper elsewhere
LINK2 (or LINK LEM+ as it is officially called) is a stand alone unit. You remove DME & KLR boxes. LINK2 is far more expensive than AFM LINK.
I suppose AFM LINK is available only in the USA for some specific functions (SFR,GURU etc map kits) at least it is not available here in europe.
The new LINK product which replaces AFM LINK is Intercept LINK. It has the same basic functions as AFM LINK. It does not have possibilty to connect O2 sensor. It does not neither have a built in Motorola MAP sensor as AFM LINK does.
The good option of Intercept LINK is the possibilty to use original AFM, MAP or MAF sensors. For tuning you can use the same LINK tuning module as AFM LINK does or Serial LINK adapter.
I suppose you can build a good MAF/MAP kit quite cheaply, just buy a suitable MAF/MAP sensor, good chips & Intercept LINK. That's more or less all what you need.

The Link AFM is a basic product available for many applications. Not just USA or where ever. AFM is available where ever a Link dealer is (or at least should be unless there are set on selling a fixed bundle). How much was that intake pipe from SFR?

Andrew,
at least in the Nordic countries AFM LINK is not available. I got the information from the Nordic Importer located in Sweden. They told me LINK has informed them that Intercept LINK is the new product.
Sami,
that pipe looks the same as you have. Only the hose connections are a little bit different. At least bow should be much easier to fit.
I suppose you can easily have a similar look. Just need to do a little bit polishing
