Wow... either thats a screaming deal, or (more likely) I got majorly screwed over. The door pockets are a BIG reason why I won't deal with PartsWreks in Chicago anymore. Guess I will just keep 'em, then. I bet I wind up with a linen/black interior in a car before long.

I'm working on my own set of "RS-style" panels. GeorgeK gave me the idea with the ones he made for his 951 cup car. I sourced a spare set of panels. I've cut the top part off (the shaped, square part)and discarded the bottom part. I bought some very thin plywood and some vinyl that matches the interior at the local craft store. My total expense, including the donor panels, is less than $100 total. Here is a pic of George's car, mine will look the same when done.

That looks pretty sharp, tifo. I wonder how a CF panel done the same way would look.

I think CF would look pretty cool. Someone who has some good experience with it should give it a shot. If they could perfect it enought to sell, they could sell quite a few of them, I think.

Tifo,
That's a sweet idea. Damn you for getting me thinking.

I would love a set if you could use actual 911 door pulls, I dont like the handle in the above pic, but a nice leather pull would be great. I think I have managed to rip off the door pockets on every one of these that I have had.

I would keep the electrics but get rid of the arm rest and pocket, and maybe use the canvas strap to pull the door shut instead of the handle? I am going to start on it soon...
