Sorry, I didn't check if the file made it last night but its here now.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Its a piggyback system that can be used on the 951 and if you want it for another car it can be removed and used on the other car because you can make 2 maps with it. You could also use the 2 different maps on your 951. For example, you want to run 15psi then on the weekend you want to run 20psi it is all in memory.

I think the rest of the info is explained in the file that was sent to me by Modern performance Inc. Its the most comprehensive setup I have seen and the cheapest so I will be putting this on my car on Friday.

I wanted to post this because I would like to know what you think about it and its good to know another option is available.

Sounds good but why could you only retard ignition and not advance it?

SHAHEED Yes, it is $935 for the complete kit.

JIMBO1111 I am not sure if it can be advanced but if it can't I can always have some more advance mapped into the chip to give me a bigger range to play with.
I am more interested in the A/F control and the other aspects like boost control and timing retard ability is just more to make the kit a good deal compared to the other systems I have priced. I think Vitesse has a similar kit but it is much more and I am not sure it can advance timing either?

It is very unlikely that it can advance the ignition.
Retard is very easy for a piggyback to do, you just route the ignition signal from the DME through the piggyback which delays the signal when needed. Compare it with the way the KLR retards the ignition if it detects knock.
For a piggyback to advance ignition it would need access to the rpm and position sensors and from that (and other sensors) do the timing calculations. Since this would not be possible to combine with the DME ignition control, the piggyback would have to completely replace all the ignition functionality of the DME.

"„Ï 128 fuel calibration and spark timing map points based on TPS deflection
and RPM load "

That sounds like ignition timing mapping to me, so yes, if that's the case you could put in points that are more advanced than the factory map.
