Default Boost guage connection

Gonna install an autometer boost guage, T-ing into KLR line in passengers footwell, and going to a-pillar pod. How does the nylon tubing go into the back of the guage? Do you use one of the fittings that came with the guage?

TIA

Back of the gauge should have a threaded fitting, and there should have been a threaded cap with a hole in the middle and a brass ferrule included - you slide the hose through the threaded cap and then slide the ferrule onto the hose, then insert hose into the threaded fitting on the gauge, then slide ferrule down against fitting, and screw the cap onto it with some teflon tape to seal the threads.

Go to plumbing store and ask them how to connect the water hose to the sink faucet. It is the same concept with your concern.
Hope it help.
