DFASTEST951 car going for $100

You're a good man. working as an EMS volunteer 46 hours a week i've seen a lot of stuff, and i know the feeling... My condolences go out to you and your family. Although my budget is ultra tightand i can't even afford a Rennlist membership i'll definately buy the ticket. Guys, this is a Porsche board and $100 is nothing to some of you, an allignment on your beloved garage queen, but for those in need it may be the biggest present ever. Be it a book, a pen or even a meal.

is there any way to know how many tickets are left? i, just like a few others, am very limited on funds (being a college student and all...), but would really like to help out (and at least have a chance at winning that beauty). i'm hoping that by the time runs out i should have scraped enough to buy a ticket or two. i just want to be sure that there isn't the chance that all the tickets sell before i get a chance to buy one.

I would think that by Dec.15, we should have the last payments in so we can get them out before the Dec.22 drawing. That is unless we sell the limit before then. We just started so that is not going to be known for awhile.

By what method is the drawing being done? Will the public have the option of being present during the drawing? Is this charity listed with the BBB?
Where are the rules and regulations printed/posted/listed?
Thanks!

Tifo, the simple hand out of the bin drawing will be performed by the executive director of Positively Kids. The raffle is listed with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and is being operated by Sandy Mequite Valley Education Foundation. A non-profit (501C) organization, tax ID #88-0391952. Not only do you have the option to be present, we encourage it. It is tentatively shceduled to be held at the Nevada Landing Hotel and Casino just outside Las Vegas. Tentatively only because it may be drawn at the Mandalay Bay as they are owned by the same company. Hope this helps and good luck!

Dfastest,
What if there is absolutely no chance that we can make it to the drawing? I'm all the way in New York and I can't make it then. Will I still be allowed to play and if I were to win, would I be notified or would I have to cantact you? Thanks!

silverbullet951,
I'm sure a lot of people won't be able to come. We will contact you if we pull your ticket out. So make sure to include all contact information to make it quick and easy. Thanks again for your support and good luck.

Met up with Joe the owner last night at a local bar, Sedona (very nice place BTW, very nice "decor" walking around ) along with Bill, the SC Koenig owner.
All i have to say about this car....
http://www.powerhaus.com/topdog.htm
....is WOW!!
When he pulled into the parking lot i could just catch that this is no ordinary 951, just had a sound that meant business. The car is EXTREMELY clean and very tight both inside and out. The black color and the way Joe has it looking suits its personality perfectly. He was great in showing us around the car, popping the hood, showing all the bells and whistles...not a thing out of place. Top notch work, you can tell.
Ah...Then the words "lets go for a ride"
I hopped in and buckled up as Joe reached down and played with the variable boost controller.
We pulled out of the parking lot onto a near by on ramp for the beltway here in town. The car drove like any other car would around town...UNTIL he mashed the go pedal! And away we went. He went through the damn gears so fast. Look over and 150mph...just like that, i swear! Ive never been in a car that pulled like that and it was pulling at 150 like it was at 80!! No wonder he has a 220 mph calibrate speedo. It wanted to keep going.
Once slowed down to sane speeds we headed back to the parking lot to give Bill a ride. Just before we turned in, Joe saw a Vette ready to make a left turn onto the same on ramp we did earlier. He signals and says " I want to play with this guy" LOL. Im like "cool..lets go". He pulls up behind the Vette (newer model, not a Z06...like it would have made a difference anyway) . Light turns green and like a mouse heading into a trap we see the back of the vette start to squat and squirm a bit as he gets on it. Joe shifts and stays right on his bumper, then lets of the gas as the vette stays in front of us. Joe blipped the throttle and the front end of his car just jumps casting its lights up and down on the vette, getting his attention im sure. Basically saying, "is that all you got" The vette had his foot down, you could hear it but he was reeled in before the light even turned green. We started to close on some traffic so the game was off.
After a leisurely drive back to the parking lot i got out, with a big grin, and Bill got his ride.
This is the first time i have met Joe and this isnt some BS testimonial that im doing on his behalf to promote his car. Just as many others have shared there experience with some pretty cool cars,I just wanted to share mine. This car is legit and is a frikn rocket.
Sure would be nice for a 100 bucks if it ended up in my garage i tell ya!
Cant wait until i get 500hp!
Enjoyed the evening Joe, pleasure to meet you.

Tony, thanks, the pleasure was all mine. Lets get together soon...Lets not forget the Koenig supercharged 928 that Tony's friend and new acquaintance of mine Bill. Took me for a ride in this sick jet black Koenig bodied 928 with every inch of the interior stitched in leather. Couldn't stop looking at the luxurious interior work until we went sideways all the way through first and into second. Instant power, no lag. I'll call you guys soon. Thanks for the ride Bill.
