I looked on the PET and it does not show bearings.

Dumb question but are there not any bearings in the cam tower housing for the 2V head camshaft?

I've never come across any mention of this and never really thought about it until the recent other post about cam towers.

No bearings, the cam tower itself acts as the bearing surface

Thanks for the confirmation. Thats where my brain was heading on that one. Time to clean the cam tower on the rage2 car and my friends car now.
