If you aren't doing much than torquing wheels and general fasteners, then a HF wrench is fine. Craftsman is junk, don't ever buy one, they break every time you look at them (i went through 5 that did nothing but torque porsche wheels at 96 ft/lbs and they couldn't hold up (gears would eventually strip a tooth or two).
If you are doing anything precision, a digital from snap on (or like vendor) IMHO is the way to go, one that does angles as well. We are seeing more and more stuff wanting angle specs rather than ft/inch/nm in the new cars now days.
My big 3/4 for doing centerlocks is a precision instruments clicker and it is great. For wheels and general big stuff, I have a 1/2" snap on clicker now that is great.

yes ! They are stunning. This is a lower model. Their tool kits are absolutely amazing if you check their web site. Beyond what I can afford but by far my favorite dream tool catalog. www.stahlwille.com

Wow, thanks for all the input! I've got plenty to consider now! I'm using a cheap on now, and as others said, it's probably good enough. But I'm drawn to quality tools... If/when I get a new one, I'll post up a full review

They have a lot of nice stuff. I've never used or even seen their torque wrenches but I'm sure they're good.
If your at all forgetful, then get a split beam or digital, otherwise you'll be re-calibrating often.
Let us know what you pick up in the end.

I did some research when I bought mine this year.
For a reasonable price, Precision Instruments (split beam) has a good reputation.
For the best: Snap-on digital
I bought the new Snap-on digital. Very nice tool.
