Had my 951S for about three weeks now, and have actually yet to drive it. It's in the shop getting some work done. But I did get to enjoy this for the weekend
oh it's not mine...not even close. Had it for the weekend as part of a charity auction event.
If ever I had that kind of expendable cash (after all the colleges are funded, house paid off, parents taken care of, single mom charity is founded, homeless people are eating, local movie theater is renovated, etc.) then maybe, just maybe I would spend $110k on a car.
I have a rule...never spend over $30k on a car. Too many great cars out there to be had for under that.
If there is full coverage insurance on it you could see about crashing it and buy it back for next to nothing for the power train. Then do a power train swap on your 951. Some may think this idea is drastic. It is! But it won't effect my life so I'm ok with that.
Or with the help of a little glass fibre cloth, bucket of resin and angle grinder, you could make 951 to look exactly like that.
I think the back of this car shows us exactly how to fix the greenhouse we have in the back. A single flat piece of glass, narrower than the width of the existing glass, with appropriate tapers on both sides. Could be done with a reasonable modification to an existing frame. It won't look exactly like this because the 951 cabin is much wider where the hatch is attached, but I think it could be done very tastefully (with a spoiler as well).

I like your thinking...
another option is a group buy on these louver beauties
Are those actually open vents in the rear window? That would keep it cooler, but I hope you live someplace that's very dry.
It doesn't really fit my tastes cosmetically either.
