I know of atleast one silverrose here in Sweden with "studio" sportseats with heat option.

If you know of any left hand drive S car in good shape I for one certanly would pay a premium

Rubbish, unless you're more interested in polishing and looking at it than modifying and driving it.

One man's opinion, which you're entitled to. A lot of others, especially the ones willing to pay $30 or 40K+, seem to think otherwise.

There aren't many category 1 or 2 cars out there, that's the only reason some speculators may pay $30-40k, define "A lot of others" ?

I respect your opinion, sir, and politely decline to argue semantics. Good for all of us that there's a robust market, because a rising tide lifts all boats. Cheers!

Likewise, and if Porsche hadn't effectively offered the same spec car for sale in following years I'd have agreed with yours.

This thread is a bit like "the one that will climb most in value is mine!"

All that I'll add is that the Canadian spec silver rose don't have airbags and mine at least has a sunroof. The seats also have leather side bolsters instead of the fabric.

That's an 88 silver rose? Good info -- do you have some pictures of these seats and non-airbag interior?

Why the hell did anyone think the Rose plaid interior was a good idea? If it were leather, that would at least give it something...but cloth? Ugly is one thing, but ugly cloth is a whole different ballgame.

Leather burns you in Summer, is cold as ice in Winter, offers zero support and is terribly heavy. It just sucks.
