I have Darton sleeves #800-400 which their website says fits a 3.0 L block. Any issues fitting these to a 2.5L block with a 3.0L crank?
They show #800-420 for the 2.5 but i cannot see why it would make any difference as these are fitted with all the old cylinder removed.
Only difference I can see between the two is that the 3.0L sleeves can be bored to 106mm whereas the 2.5L can only be bored to 104mm.

Sleeves will not fit a 2.5L block. The flanges on the outside of the sleeve for the 3.0L application are at a different "height" due to the shallower coolant area. The 2.5L blocks have a much deeper, more exposed area of the wet sleeve and the Darton sleeves specific to this block have flanges to account for this.
I have a set of #800-420 Darton sleeves available. Interested in a trade?
