930 test drive
Simonk,
the 930 you drove was definitely not a 964 platform car based on what you were telling us. The 91 964 was a 315hp car and was night and day different from the older 86-89 G-50 trans, car. The 86-88 930 cars were 4-speeds and then porsche introduced the 5- speed in 89 and it was a much better and driver friendly 930. It is possible that maybe you drove an 80's model car that had an updated styling kit, which really sickens me as I hate when porsche owners do that, but I see it a lot. Whatever year car you drove it makes for a good story and a hell of a ride to go along with it.
