Lindsey Racing LR951MAX Performance Chips for 944 Turbo.

Our Lindsey Racing 951 Max Performance Chips for the 944 Turbo are mapped at 3.0 bar (43 psi) of fuel pressure. The stock fuel pressure on the 944 Turbo is 2.5 bar (36 psi). You will need to increase the fuel pressure to 3.0 bar when using these chips. You can do that with a 3.0 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator, the LR-4037 Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator or with one of our Lindsey Racing Fuel Rail kits utilizing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Failure to raise the fuel pressure to 3.0 bar will result in a lean fuel mixture.

it does not hurt to actually read the webpage you want to buy the chips from... http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Pors...-MAX-CHIP.html

Most chips require some type of mod. I have a pair of weltmiester chips and a wastegate shim that were installed in my 86 by the PO. I ran these without additional mods for while with no issues. I then moved to a Vitesse Chip with 3bar FPR, manual boost controller and a Tial which I prefer. I plan on listing the welt chips and shim for sale soon and maybe the Vitesse when I get my MAF installed.
