I'm working on getting the car painted and wasn't sure how the trim rails on the roof come off. Also, are the side moldings glued in place or are they bolted on?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

The trim rail is held by clips. A gentle pry with a non-metal bar will remove them.
The side molding is attached with double side tape, and one rivet at the door edge. Try fishing line to work the trim free. Just a slow job, as you do not want to bent the trim. If you bend, you will destroy the factory paint adhesion, and will have to remove all paint.
Google the decal eraser for removing the tape residue from the body. The residue from the molding is just slow work.
