Hey guys, do to an unfortunate family driveway incident my poor 951 now has a dented header panel. I went to get a quote this morning and due to this part not being manufactured anymore they can't do anything unless I find a replacement. So when I looked I found this

From GTRacing. Does anyone have this and can confirm its build quality and fitment? I don't want to have to get a part and not be able to use it because it doesn't fit right. Any advice appreciated!! Thanks.

Is a fiberglass unit and as such it needs prepping and work to make it fit right

Sure, but call these folks first. Painting a good used OE part is vastly cheaper than making a fiberglass piece fit as stock.

Agreed. Better off buying the stock metal piece and having it painted if necessary. If you're going with fibreglass then I'd try Mike at IFC first. Their parts tend to fit better than GT. http://www.allporscheracing.com/
