Piggy back system

Piggy back systems sound nice because there is adjustment for timing but if there is no real need to adjust timing beyond what the aftermarket chips are set at then what is the advantage of the piggyback?
I ask this because I am running a larger turbo and #55 injectors which need some serious dialing in so I will need something to tune the car and would like to go with an MAP or MAF but if timing is also an issue then some of you experts please let me know.
I guess another option is the Link stand alone but I dont know if Danno has it out yet.

You can dial back some timing to compensate for low octane fuel then turn your boost up to gain back lost HP.
Your setup just needs a/f adjusting not really timing. Who ever does your chips should be able to get your timing right.
Check out Vitessi's site. John has a great piggy back/kit.

The 2 Link EFI systems are available with start up maps included. A ready to use plug and play harness is also available.
The Link AFM unit is also available for both a MAP and MAF kit. you only need one AFM to use either MAP or MAF.

John (vitesse) was working with a guy on this board who was developing a 'tunable' chip add-in. I think his username was TT. Check this Turbo board, and see if you can find some info. It looked pretty sharp!
