My first recommendation would be Pro Technik in Stafford.
If you're interested, a few of us are having dinner Tuesday night at Pappadeaux's (Richmond at Kirby). You're welcome to join us. 5:30-6ish.

I have gone to Viking Motorsports ever since I got the 951. Viking is a great guy and I heard that Pro Technik and Viking Motorsports are in the same complex in Stafford, so it wouldn't be much hassle to check out both. Good Luck.

Brian-
do you think Pro-Tecnik would be the best offer for a regular mechanic? He doesnt have much time with the race cars etc, and I know it took them a while yo do your car (though they did fix it when no one else could!). I think I might recommend Viking as well. Both of them do good work and they are both stand up guys.
Matt-
see if you can make it to dinner, there will be two Matt's then!
See you guys down there. Brian PM me your cell number.

I used the dyno at Pro Technik. I'm not sure what info you need though.
I don't have anything against Viking at all. I just have no experience with them, so I couldn't offer a good-faith referral.
My long-time mechanic let me down with the car this spring, and it was Pro Technik to the rescue. Viking could have a faster turn-around (that wouldn't take much), and it did seem to play in my favor that I wasn't in a hurry for it.
