Thanks Shawn. Yes, that's the exciting part about Gustaf's dyno. It's at waaay lower boost which has to be better for heat/longevity. Imagine this motor at 1.6 bar...hope we see that one day!
I don't really compare dyno numbers but have had separate conversation with him and he has done his maths to substantiate these figures. When we've seen the occasional claim for 500whp + at 1 bar I've always taken these with a large grain of salt. Seeing both Gustaf's and another 16v motor that is down here with these results has made me reconsider my expectations, however I would be happy with a bit less just as long as it's an improvement from what we've had previously. In both power and boost efficiency.
