Default Car covers and keeping cool...?

My car has always lived in the garage, but every now and then I need to park it outside for a day while I'm doing something else in the garage. Now that it's getting hot out, I hate baking the car in the sun. I use a windshield screen to keep the (uncracked) dash in the shade, and crack the windows open, but it still gets mighty hot in the car, not to mention the paint.

So....any good car cover recommendations for such occasions? Any other tips/ideas/gizmos for keeping the car cool in the sun?

Unfortunately I have no shade (though am mulling planting some trees for that reason....)

Trust me, I'd love one, but I don't want my house to look too much like Crazy Eddie's...

This will get you started.

http://www.pelicanparts.com/Porsche/...over_start.htm

I have a 944 car cover that has been sitting in a box in my garage for quite a while. It has no labels and I got it from someone on craigslist so I have no idea what it's history is.

It is in good shape with a few small dirt smudges.
$100 shipped

No help to you Tom but I picked up a BNIB NOS PCA cover. It was made for PCA when our cars were new and has a Posrsche crest on it.

Which one did you get? If you think it's awesome, I'm sure I'll like it...
