944Fest (aka Dan P)

6'5" here and room is good. I know of several 944 guys who have them 'cause they couldn't fit in 911s very well. I personally know 4 other 6'4"+ guys who drive these cars (cuz, Brad, Chip, Rhen).

Really depends on torso to leg length proportion. I'm 6'2" but all torso. So I just barely clear the roof top. I need to rake back the seat a bit more than my buddy who's the exact same height but has more leg than torso.

6' 5" here too, and leg room is not a problem at all. Also, the 944 NA I had seemed to have a little more leg room because the seat was lower.

I had no idea there were this many tall people on rennlist.

Brian, the Cooper has MORE driver room than my 951, my old Durango, my new Odyssey, just about every car I've ever been in. They maximized the driver area and shrunk everything else. Almost everyone asks "how does a big guy like you fit in it?" I throw them the keys and they find out for themselves, it is big in there. Chip drove it last night.. He's 6'4" + and moved the seat forward one notch.. Ask the guys who drove her at the 944Fest. .. It's really spacious!

I test drove Suprq tt, Nissan 300zx tt, RX-7 tt and 3000 GT tt. The head room in 951 was superior to all. I sit fairly upright, so when I wear a helmet it's best w/sunroof off. Sunroof tilted up, helps, but off is better for me. 6' 3" and lanky.
