Default Lindsey Adjustable Cam Gear Adjustments

Hi everyone,
Just installed a Lindsey adj cam gear to compensate for head and block refurbish.
I was wondering, how many degrees offset should I be careful with to avoid bending valves or whatever when I advance the cam. Or what have been good results on your setups...
thanks

A typical head and block resurface shouldn't take away very much material. Typically you just need to advance the cam 1*.

There's plenty of clearance on these engines. You could advance or retard a full tooth in either direction and not hit valves, so I wouldn't worry.
