I have a 1986 951. It will be getting some abuse on the cv's so im looking for a good upgrade.

Now i see different types of cv's

Will the later turbo axles fit my 86?

I will be getting the turbo s gearbox.

What are the differences? Size. Spline?

The later CVs have a different number of splines and must be paired with the later half-shafts. Dimensionally otherwise identical. The late style CVs weigh less, have larger *****, and my experience has been that they stand up to track use better.
