Just under the intake.

There is also a single black rubber connector with a slight curve connected to the firewall.

Check this pic. I believe it's a pic of Refresh951 with motor out

Just under the intake? So it is not attached to the firewall?

Sorry it's a little confusing. so the check valve comes back and connects to a 3-way connection on mine. Then where it splits into two, one end goes up to the vacuum port on the intake and the other end connects to the firewall.

In the above pic it appears there is one red vac line comming off the firewall and hanging down. The other red vac line attached to the blue check valve might be connected to the other firewall port. However as you can see in the pic it is blocked from view. I am guessing that in that pic it is connected to the firewall. As long as the firewall hose and the check valve hose are connected to the intake somehow you will have vacuum.

I'm at work right now so I am going off of memory, however I will confirm for sure tonight.

Ok I checked my car. So here is how it goes.

line from check valve goes to T connection. From there one end goes to that funny little valve on the back of the head. Can't remember the part number but I think you will know the one I mean. The other end heads toward the firewall connection. Just before the firewall connection there is another T.

One end of that T goes to the firewall and the other end goes up to the vacuum canister by the battery.

Hope that helps.

I found it!

I had to loosen the zip ties that hold the wiring tight to the firewall.

It was hanging out under there.

I really appreciate all your efforts in helping me.

Thank you!

Glad you got it and happy to help.

Funny I actually found one of my vac lines came off of that funny check valve on the back of the head. The one that runs to the bottom of the throttle body to that funny check valve on the head.

That is how it works. You help someone else and you in turn get help unexpectedly.

That check valve goes to the vacuum reservoir located next to the battery. When the motor pulls vacuum, it lets the reservoir "fill up" (opposite cause it is vacuum). The check valve prevents the reservoir from "draining" (again opposite). The reservoir allows operation of vacuum actuated functions even when the motor is not pulling vacuum.
At least I think that is what is going on.

Btw fejjj, those tial adapter plates you sold me work great.

Thanks Summit P.

The little black end slid into a t connection attached to the firewall.

BTW...I do a a few sets of Tial Wastegate adapter plates left for those of you upgrading and want to make the Tial
WG mate up to your exhaust.
