you mean the silver ones?

pelican has them for around $80 i think i can get them for $70, depends on if my supplier will drop ship for me or if i need to ship to me then the final customer.

i dont think its worth $70 or $80 for a different colored hood crest though

Thanks Dan. I'm not sure yet. Just thinking about it. Does it look nice?

The Porsche Crest is analogous to a signature....

If I take your signature and change it or modify it in any way, no matter how minor or trivial the modification, it is no longer your signature.

If you modify the Porsche Crest, no matter how minor or trivial the modification, then it isn't a Porsche Crest anymore. It's something else. Good or bad, it's not a Porsche Crest.

I'm seriously thinking about turning mine upside-down.

I like the badges when they get some age on them.

Like me.

C'mon Tony, the crest is still a crest if it comes from Porsche silver. Would a signature still be a signature if it was written in blue ink rather the balck?

I just went out to the garage and put a newer crest next to the original on the 951, as Jaxon stated the older badge really looks great. IMHO the silver looks better than gold on certain color combinations, JMO.
It's a matter of taste...........
