Hi everyone. I finally joined rennlist after lurking forever. I bought a 2015 C2S coupe. Just wanted to post here too since I love reading about everyone's experiences with the 944/951. I grew up with a 1987 944 turbo which my dad bought new and we still have. I learned to drive in it and it is very special to me and my folks to this day. So many cars have come and gone over almost 30 years but it's still here. My kids still have some time until they learn to drive but I hope to teach them in my 911. It is PDK, though. I'll need the 951 to teach them how to drive a car with a "proper" transmission.
Welcome and so glad you kept the 944. I still have the one I bought new in 86, added a few more along the way plus a few 911's. The Carreras I buy and sell, the 944's I keep and love to drive.
