Luis just hooked me up with a pair of '86 aluminum rear trailing arms. On their way to Rob for mock up on Monday. This is coming together faster than I thought could happen.

I got the front adapter tech drawing worked out for the late 951 spindles. It looks like billet 7075 will work.

As I suspected the rear PCCB rotor will fit the 86 alloy control arm and e-brake without e-brake adapters. Oddly the difference in hub offset is 28mm on the early arm that Eric sent me. All other dimensions are the same, torsion and shock mounting points. However this early 86 arm has a 102.25mm rotor centering step as well as a 71.6mm hub centering boss. I will machine the PCCB hat to fit since it is has a 98mm Hub I.D.Name: IMG_20150404_162220_zpsq7urgjux.jpg

Besides the extra inset for a stronger caliper adapter and negating the need for caliper machining, the two small ears will need 2mm trimmed where the rotor hat screws rotate.....Name: IMG_20150404_162603_zps0wijdzwp.jpg

Billet material arrived yesterday for front adapters and finished them today. They'll accept factory m12x 1.5 bolts

Nailed the fronts. The PCCB pads are resting exactly where the previous rotation marks were.I used the ABS relief dimensions from Chrenan's 996tt to 951 adapters which is a 0.25" step by 1.50" width...
Since I machined the adapters with 1.25" material, Cap/Allen head bolts M12 x 1.5 x 90mm are required on all 4 calipers (8ea). I always install black oxide finish grade 8 cap heads with loctite and remove the caliper/adapter via the spindle ear thru holes.

Rear adapter/s tech drawing is complete. It'll take a different material size. Just waiting on the order. In the mean time, Ive discovered the rear hubs on EARLY or LATE control arms are made that they won't allow for rotor centering rings, so I have to set the hats up in CNC mill and machine the 944/951 setscrew PCDs into them....

944/951/928 ................ 144* x 136mm PCD
996/997/9Blahblahblah......... 144* x 120mm PCD
