What is the control lamp?

What is the control lamp?
The (!) light, seatbelt light, and airbag light have been on in my car for weeks now. I made the test rig, per www.clarks-garage.com and ran the sequence to get the fault code. It came back with a code 30, which is a failure warning lamp, and says I should remove and check the warning lamp and replace if necessary. What and where is the warning lamp? Also says check wiring harness and replace control unit if necessary. Do these just go bad???

Check the electrical connector that is attached to the emergency brake lever switch. These have a tendancy to fall off or break. I fixed my problem by re-attaching the connector. Helps if you have small fingers!

nope, but i did bypass the airbag control unit and the lights went out. i pulled the connector from the harness to the orange box under the glove box. jumpered pins 3 and 4 and the car runs fine now, no idiot lights.
THE AIRBAG WILL NOT WORK, BUT THE CAR WILL STILL RUN IF YOU DO THIS.
