I have not tried these on a 944 n/a but the heads are exactly the same in term of valvetrain design and setup as far as I know.

I've put 1600 miles on these without issues. They seem to be working well. The company I had for head work said they were much more consistent than the springs I had in before (many shims and different on each valve).

Thanks for responding! That’s good to hear.

Just to confirm you used these in an N/A 8v 944?

Thanks again
Ben

Thanks again for the quick response. In case any other 4.5 928 owners stumble across this thread as i did. Having checked p/n's again i don't think they will work for the 4.5 928 but they should be ok for the 4.7S though. Reason being they modified the heads to when moving from the 4.5 to 4.7 motor, the bearing surface was increased to accommodate a change to progressive springs. Nevermind..... the search for an alternative option continues..

Out of curiosity did they change the installed height of the springs or were they happy with the 165lb seat pressure on the exhaust valves?

Will these work on a 16v head? On a 2.5 16v head?

Or is there a similar application that will?

Asking for a friend...
