Default Hard lines for oil cooler or not ?

I have been thinking about using aluminium hard lines between my existing oil cooler and my auxilary external oil cooler. I was thinking that the hard lines might offer some additional cooling for the oil but I am wondering about potential drawbacks with using hard lines. Anyone have any opinions on this ? (btw I have AN flaring tools so that is not a factor)

Thanks

I would use hose, just my .02 worth. They are easier to route, repair, and replace.

I wouldn't use aluminum for oil line because of its tendency to crack and leak. I personally would use stainless for oil or fuel.
