So is a LR dual port wastegate the way to go?

I here my wastegate clapping closed when it's stuck open and that's the next thing I want to replace. I know some people run the Tial wastegate but was thinking to have mine rebuilt by LR as I like the factory fit. Any feedback on this route?

Sorry I've had so many posts lately, but you guys are amazingly helpful for troubleshooting. Hopefully I can return the favor as I become a 951 "expert" myself.

The clubgate is PCA approved, but don't think the dual port version is, if that matters to you. You'll need adapters to use the Tial, but once installed is a great waste gate with a huge user base, and is easily rebuilt at home, and allows user-changeable spring rates. If you want the least fuss getting it installed, and don't see yourself ever touching it again, then the LR gate performs great. If you're more of a tinkerer who wants to change spring rates and freshen the valve seats and otherwise tweak things at home in the name of horsepower, then go for the Tial.

Thanks for feedback Tom, that was a great summary of the two choices.
I'm a bit of a tinkerer if I'm honest, but on this car I'm trying to adopt more of a "set it up and forget it" attitude. Once I get the mechanical elements sorted I'll have years of interior/exterior work ahead of me, so the LR will probably work well for me. I'll probably use their tunes as well which will keep it all in "the family" which is also easier.

Get the Tial 38 Chuck. Make sure you safety wire the bolts on. There used to be a guy here on Rennlist that sold the Tial with the adapter plate and predrilled bolts for safety wire.

I have the adapter plates if you need them.

The Tial or Turbosmart are better gates but the LR one bolts on.

I have already placed the order for the LR one. In looking around I wasn't able to find a bolt-on kit for the Tial and since the car is completely stock it seemed a good way to go. If I change my mind I expect I can resell this one for a reasonable price.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
