Glad to see you've finally got some good news with a turbo George. Sounds very promising. :-)

Hope you enjoyed your time down here. Guess you were very busy or tired when you were in Sydney. I made some time to see you before we flew out but didn't hear from you. Glad you caught up with Pauly and at least met one Aussie from Rennlist. Keep posting about the new turbo and results.

T-4 V band. It's so much easier to remove the turbo now!!!! Not that I want to, but you never know when you to change an 0-ring etc.

Did you get it straight from Tial or from another vendor?

When you say gt35 .82R are you referring to the GT3582R or that you are using a .82 AR housing, or maybe both?

I sure like the looks of mine, can't wait to get this whole engine put together. This is not my engine, just a mock up to get the custom mount properly fitted.

Eric, is yours the exact same turbo? If so, where did you get it?

Word is, not that you can believe him, it will be completed today! Still a ways off Patrick.
Neil is going to provide us the sealing rings though and also assisting us with a fully pinned girdle. Going to be interesting anyway.

At first, I thought it was, now I don't think so. Mine is a GTX3582R with SS Tial housing and polished Compressor. The Tial will be Jet Hot coated as well, no room for DEI blanket. I purchased from Albert Broadfoot. He custom made the billet mount for me, along with all the oil and cooling lines. There is a misconception on here about Albert. He is also making a ton of other custom weldments for me, along with intake, headers and crossover tube.

I'm out of town. They haven't branded this yet, but I'll send you the brand name when I get back from skiing.

Default Tuning

I drove the car to Sierra Vista and back from Tucson on business yesterday. About 180 mile drive round trip. In sixth gear, from 2k rpm going wot, the set boost is hit by 3200rpm. In this case this was set to 20psi.

We are finishing up the tuning on Monday, and I have dyno time scheduled that day. I'll forward the data from the Mustang dyno. This dyno reads about 20% less than the typical Dynojet WOT only dyno's. Looking forward to seeing the results!

George:

There is a difference between our turbos right? Should be about the same output/response though, I would think.

I bet the car felt really nice in that cool air with the new turbo George!

(Glad you're working with Neil on that sealing system Eric. It looked good to me)
