Eric,
This is going to be a street/DE car. I am in the process of building a GT3/944 with a 3.2 liter 968 race motor to replace my 2.7 liter GT5/944. the new motor is dry sleeved, dry sump High Compression with ITB's. shooting for 2150 lbs.

Oh......
Oh my........
I'm surprised I can see those pictures on my work computer, because that car is the sexiest thing I've ever seen.
Can you PM me some more info (specifics?) on how you did that widebody? I've always wanted to do a steel widebody on my V8 swap car...I don't like fiberglass nearly as much as steel.

Any updates on this car?
I was just googling some wide bodies...and this looks like one of the cleanest by far. Would love to see some more pics of it has been completed.

That looks absolutely gorgeous mate :-)
I love wide body 944's...in my opinion it takes them from being a modest C cup, to a busty DD
Widening the steel body is a great idea...makes the lines much smoother and nicer than many of the fiberglass kits.

Patrick,
Thank you. I have to many projects currently. I am focusing on the 968 powered CF 944 GT3 race car. I will get back on this LS3 944 project soon. Excited to see the progress and success of your new motor.

Max,
Is there any chance I can get you to show me where cuts were made on both the front and rear. It's pretty apparent in a couple of the pictures but it seems you did something behind the back tire. I like this solution far better than anything available for the 968. I have an LS2 swap and it's going under the knife shortly to make the body fit the bill. Needs much more tire.
