According to AEM instructions, you normal start out 3psi less your spring rating. We had oscillations at 11psi (spring is 14). We then dropped it to 8psi with no oscillations. The we added 0.5psi with each run. Our last dyno run was with a spring setting of 12psi and duty cycle of 60. No oscillations and boost was around 15psi. No idea why I had them at 11psi. As we increased the spring settings, we saw no changes in spool up. Always around 8psi of boost at 3500rpm. As duty cycle when up, boost went up of course. Would a bad solenoid kill my hp and spool up that bad? New solenoids are only $30 or may go to Hallaman Pro MBC. What about bad chip or turbo?

I put fresh fuel before the dyno testing. I use 93 octane only. Could be bad gas. The FQS is set to 0. I will double check but I don't have the pigtail in which I think is correct. With the plug in is for E85 I think. Thanks for the feedback. My turbo is the same color as yours. Is it is called Slate gray?

Mine is stale grey. check the option codes.

Primary map - pigtail off
Secondary map - pigtail on.

primary is usually petrol and secondary is usually e85.

I think you are correct. Not slate grey but stale grey. I have the code in binder that I put together about the car. Its at the shop with the car. The pigtail is off. I sent Joshua the data logger files of the dyno runs to look at to see if he has any ideas. Hasn't got back to me yet. I can figure this one out. I will keep you guys updated about the car. Any other ideas let me know. Thanks

Nice chart. Looks like full boost at 3800rpms. Hopefully I get my car to perform like that soon. Been 6 months working on this car. That's ok about typo, seen some odd names for colors.

Belt was off by two teeth?

Did you do your compression/leakdown tests before or after this was corrected? I'd be worried that at 2 teeth off you might have piston/valve contact. Mine was 1 tooth off and it was a DOG.

red is CFM very roughly converted to hp. its just a guide for me to see improvements ect if i change something.

KPAx2 is KPA but numbers doubled up to be legible on the graph or it's to small.

There's a conversion on the side to understand the kpa x 2 numbers into psi.

I talked with the mechanic yesterday. The first shop did the compression/leakdown test. I am not sure they did test before or after they did the timing belt. If I redo the test now the timing is correct, would my numbers be better or worse? My mechanic did mention any potential piston/valve contact. I read somewhere on these forums I was ok even with to teeth off.

I cannot be 100% that graph is accurate. But it does look like so as the MAF is showing more airflow the higher RPM. airflow translates into power as with my old setup the airflow would drop off after so many rpm.
