Default Teflon scraper question

Those of you who have the teflon scraper. Is the teflon quite rigid and hard to dig a nail into, only a bit softer than a credit card? Or is it softish and a bit squishable, more like a harder version of neoprene?

I'm constructing a one-off custom windage/ scraper combo for my car, but I'm concerned the teflon I have bought is the wrong type.

Quite rigid... I wouldn't really say "squishable".

Thanks. I guess I bought the wrong type then. I can easily bend the protruding lip of the teflon using my finger and it has no springiness so does not return to centre.
