Congratulations on the fantastic build so far.

An amazing and worthy tribute to this unsung hero of the Porsche legacy at Le Mans.

Looking forward to its debut!

Sorry for this french message guys but so Happy to see that french persons are Also following the thread. Maybe Thanks to the picture you can imagine the question and answer

Nothing really new but i had to mark the first steps in the real world ... stickers finished Walter ans Jürgen are now on the doors

I'm now working on the cam-cover master for the casting but things are not so easy as we expected. Cams are moving really close to the head's edges. We'll have to modify some things on the cover but it looks good so i wanted to show it to you

thanks thom, turbo SII, as i said it's not finish at all. I really have to modify it a lot. I'll certainly do a 3D printing for the definitive master. But i don't think we'll do more than 1 casting. Our target is not to do money with reproduced parts, this is the Porsche property. This is Also why i didn't do any mold of the modified body work. We only want this car to be a beautiful object and tribute of its ancestor.

Fantastic work yet again Rom!

What is the issue with the cams? Is it literally a case of not enough room to turn? How did you select the cam profiles, did you find out the factory spec?

Thank you Patrick.
It's more due to the design of my cam cover it's not really technically good and doesn't let enough space at the bottom.
concerning the cam unfortunately at the moment we don't have any spec from the factory so the basis is the original cam profile and we'll see later what to change to be more efficient.

For now we're also finishing the dashboard installation and here it seems that nearly everything is fine.
