My 86 951 with sunroof and all the standard stock equipment with 1/4 tank of gas, spare, and heavy briefcase and 186 lb driver weighed 3109 lbs on a certified truck weigh scale. That would put the car in at approx 2900lbs without driver.

3320-170 = 3150

Sounds familiar. I had a bit more gas in my car than you, which makes up for the tools/oil/water you had in your car.

Curb weight is what your car weighs when it's parked at the kerb. So you'll have your spare-tire and tool-kit in there. All fluids like oil & coolant topped off. But only 1/2 tank of gas because that's the average of all the times you park at the kerb. Some times, you'll have a full tank. Other time, you'll be empty.

My '86 951 after corner-balancing came out to 2910-lbs with spare-tire removed and interior behind rearr seats removed. But I added some back with roll-bar.

So avg. with driver and proper fluids, 1/2 tank, stock car, about 3000-3200.

COOL!!

Went with a friend today to the county dump and they have the drive up scale. I asked them about it's accuracy and they said it is pretty close. I will go down this week and get mine weighed.

I drove into my -86 into corner weights previously with 200 lbs driver, standard tools and spare tire and ended up 3200.
51.6 % weight on front
cross weights 50/50

I am pretty happy with result.

I would hope to be 2800 with everything I've had done to it. I say 2900 as I have never weighed it. Lightened flywheel, 16 lbs. lighter motor than stock, header and exhaust, no spare tire or jack, Kenisis wheels 21lbs a piece.

Stock 1989 with spare, usual stuff in car and half tank of gas was 3080 without driver. A few less options than the Turbo S perhaps? I think a good weight for the non-S, non ABS 1988 would be around 3050 pounds plus driver.
