Since I am in the process of going through and redoing all of the front of the engine seals, and swaybar bushings, I took a look at my engine mounts and they look terrible.
Since I am right there, I am going to spend more $$$ again, and remove/replace the 25 yo motor mounts. Is there anybody cheaper than factory porsche mounts that are actually good?
I have been reading that URO mounts stink, and in a couple of months I'll be doing the job again.
Anyone have any good results from MEYLE's motor mounts, or another brand motor mounts?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Factory "Rein" or do it again soon. Get them from Sunset in OR for a good discount off MSRP. Forget about Corteco, URO, Hamburg Technic, use hockey pucks if you want cheap. Meyles sit between factory and the rest in terms of quality but why compromise? The factory mounts will last you at least 10 years, in terms of cost that is less than $40 a year, about an extra tank of gas a year for peace of mind, great performance and a Porsche warranty.

Search, there must be 100 motor mount threads here. Rein are OE mounts with numbers erased.

I'm running the solid rubber Meyle mounts and they have lasted 12,000 miles so far with no issues. Funny that the 928 community hates the OE hydraulic mounts and switches to solid ones when they go out.
