Default Ac compressor bolt help!!

I went to check my tension on my alternator belt today and found that the bolt on the front of the ac compressor at the top was hanging all the way out. I took the belt off to realign it and realized that the compressor is stripped. Any suggestions on how to fix this without pulling the compressor? I do not want to pull for two reasons. 1 it is r 12 and 2 it works perfectally.

My thoughts are these. Put a longer bolt in and see if I can catch some threads at the end ( not the best option) . Put a longer bolt in and try to get a nut on it. The best option is to put in a timesert, however I don't think this is possible with it installed.

If anyone else can give me some ideas, I would appreciate it, especially those that have dealt with this issue.

I've seen them before with a longer bolt and nut. It works.

Ok, sounds like that may be my best option, I hate it though.
