Where to buy exhaust manifold flange?
I am looking to build my own manifold, but can't find the head flange anywhere. Does anyone have a source?
Mild steel would be preferred, but SS isn't a problem either. Joined or separate doesn't matter.

Quality is never cheap and cheap is rarely quality...if the 9 product is not in your budget then make your own using a plasma cutter, drill and hole saw , easy on mild steel .

I'm not expecting cheap. I am expecting a quality machine cut flange. Even a quality flange is not work an upper $100 price tag. I have purchased many quality flanges in the $75-120 range.

I can do center to center hole size and punch it out on SolidWorks. He does not cut 5/8 very often. 3/8 is a common size he cuts and that is still very thick. Are you sure 5/8 is what you need?
I'm guessing but it would probably be about $5-10/ flange for the individual flanges.

I will draw it and email it when I get off of work. Thanks again.
Nice screen name! I would prefer to start with a solid flat flange, rather than the stamped stock one.

Sounds good. My buddy just upgraded his laser to a Trumph L2530. Nice machine.
I will draw it up and send some prints back to you.
I can also run a test sheet in 1/8 for fit checks. 1/8 is really cheap to cut.

Email sent.
Sounds like a plan. I'm not in a big rush. Keep me updated. Let me know the cost of the process. If he needs me to, I will buy a 1/2"or 5/8" plate and have it shipped to you.

I cut my 16v flanges out in SS316 1/2" (12mm) But as we used a 1" thick base plate on to bold them on during welding, we never needed to flatten the flanges!
