Tech GT
My neighbor who races SCCA is building a 3L for one of his 951 race cars and has a Tech GT ECU. Who here is running a Tech GT? Can anyone share their bin files with me as I am trying to help him get it up and running?

Hey Shawn,
I have some bin files that may help you get him up and running. Do you have any more information about his setup?
Injector size?
Batch or Sequential?
Rough HP estimate?
These bin files are similar to the default settings that Wintec provides but hopefully it will get you/him started. Im on Marthas Vinyard at the moment and don't have access to my 'stuff'. Ill be home later tonight and can email you a couple of files tonight or tomorrow.

Motec M84 is ancient technology and for each feature one has to pay in order to unlock it.
For that kind of money you can get much better product.
Motec is very good, but the very good comes at unreasonable price and their lower end products are nothing to brag on.
Just my two (euro)cents.

Can you clarify what your referring to by the close loop 'dropping the setting'?
Is the O2 sensor functional and registering anything?
Is the O2 Feedback control activation on within Wintec?
Open Wintec and then open your tune file, navigate to...
-EGO Wideband / AFR Table
|----EGO parameters
From here you can see if the O2 feedback is on or off.

"The ECU should store the .bin file to non-volitale memory. Regardless of wether or not there is power active in the car, it should retain the .bin file."
Thanks for the reply guys, yeah I was under the impression that the tune will hold its setting after power is removed, but it has not work and the last time I ran the car the idle fluctuates every time you bring the car to a stop. It will not kill the car but the idle is all over the lower range. 300-900rpm.
I got in touch with Wayne and he said this "I'll mod the program and you can just drop the tune in it"
I'm not savvy on tuning so once I get to ATL I'll be asking for your support.
thanks again

Did you do initial tuning with the IAC out of the loop? Are you even running the IAC? Is it a track car or street car? Did you send the guy a datalog? What are your injector settings? (MIT/IOT/TOG)

Im not sure how the tuning was done, the car is set up for the street, I wish I could answer the questions brother but I'm taping out. Once I get back to ATL I'll get my laptop set-up or call refresh951, and get his advise. If everything works out here I should be there next month.
