Hello everyone. I figured I better post something since my car was posted the other day on the 968 turbo RS thread. My business is just down the road from Jason at Paragon,,,and yes I have already spent my fair amount of money and time there - Great Place.

I recently purchased a 1986 red 951, black interior. Exterior and interior 9.5! I have had to do some maintenance on the A/C but now that Griffiths is in place I have 41° temps.

I have done Koni sport inserts up front with 200# Welts, Koni sports on the rear, 968 M030 bars w/new bushings, Zimmerman rotors w/metal master pads, and SFR 3" full exhaust. I have Cup 3 wheels on the way with Goodyear F1 DS G3 tires on the way, should be here next week. Also just arrived in my shop is a new Vitesse Stage II kit, so I hope to get a safe and reliable 17psi out of that with good A/F ratios. I will get a WBO2(tech edge) to back that up.

The engine will be completely gone through in November, refreshed 100%.
I have the time and a spare engine came with the car for a small fee. The car is quick now but through friends I know I can do better,,,and I intend to.

It is all Ski's fault for getting me to ride in his car!! Damn it's fast, he almost scared me a couple of times,,,,,,but I have been bitten by the bug and my wife too, so that's good for me!

What do you say on here? Welcome to the boost? I'm a boostaholic!!

Look forward to visiting with everyone on the boards. Here is a pic of the car.

Oh yeah,,blame me! After THE drive I thought I saw a big smile rather than a worried look!!!!!

Seriously, welcome to the boards!

another boostaholic.... or 2...

WELCOME!

Your gonna love that car... I've owned lots of new Mercedes sports cars, BMW's, etc. yet nothing compares to this 15 y.o. car when I hit that "go pedal" and listen to the turbo climb into a wail. But the best is when the road gets really twisty and there is no one else on the road!
