Help! stranded with broken cv axle
I am at an autox in Brunswick, ME and one of my cv axles sheared. Is there someone in me who has one I can buy and pickup tonight or tomorrow morning? Kinda stuck and thought I would give the forum a try before I try getting the car home on a flatbed. Got an 86 951.

Hey guys! Thanks for the hint. I was able to get a vanagon axle shipped for pickup early Sunday morning. It bolted right on and I ran the 2nd day of autox without any problems! Thank you! I couldn't see any difference between the units and it even came with new bolts.

Glad to hear it worked out. I have gone through 9 axles since I modified the car. Changed to grade 12 alan head bolts. Makes changing them a lot faster.
