Default FS - K26/8, Oil Cooler, etc

These are from a running 89 Turbo that had rear end damage.

K26/8 Turbo - some shaft play (don't have a way to measure it), minor impellor damage, missing an exhaust stud. Good core for a rebuild if nothing else. $240 shipped Cont. US. - SOLD

Oil Cooler and lines in good used condition - $140 shipped Cont. US.

Cruise control servo motor $35 shipped

Also have:
968 KLA strut brace $100 shipped

I'm not sure but Lindsey will exchange for about $450. They want $700 for a k26/8 core.

the way i see this - for a K26/8 - is you pay $1,350 upfront and get a core refund of $700 back, if you have a rebuild-able core. delta of $650 on both a 26/6 or 26/8. based on their description, i don't believe your turbo would be a rebuild-able core without additional charges.

Front Lindsey Racing:
"Core refunds are based on you returning a rebuild-able turbocharger that does not need additional parts such as compressor wheels, turbine wheel or backing plate. A rebuild-able turbo is defined as one only needing a rebuild kit (bearings, seals etc...) and labor."

I'm not sure I follow your math. Lindsey lists the k26/6 as 650 including 200 core and the k26/8 at 1150 including 700 core charge. Adds up to 450 to me for either option. Yes, the impellor damage would probably effect the price but I have no idea what the ding for that would be.

i looked at the page you provided the link for and the exchange cost was $650 - with a $200 core refund on the 26/6 and a $700 refund on the 26/8. that appears to me to be $850 and $1350 upfront, before getting the core refund back for a common balance of $650. i guess i could be misinterpreting their statements, but i don't see how a 26/8 is $450 out the door.

i didn't see a listing of $1,150 for a rebuilt 26/8, but i could have missed it.
