I hope this works out well for you. As you know, I like the stroker vs bigger bore. I like that it works better with the engine design IMO.

Looking forward to how it compared. Obviously the 16v will change things a bit.
Are you guys all running the Eagle Rods? We will be running Carillo of a new design.

probably to make interested buyers spend more on an S2.

by 1990 it wouldve been a really hard job to convince someone to spend $40k+ on a car with 162 hp...especially when a contemporary corvette was cheaper and had 50% more power.
So why cast a new head just for 1 year unless they were thinking ahead for a larger capacity turbo using the new block.

Patrick:

I am pretty sure they run the standard Eagles Rods. The same size as the ones in the chart I sent to you. The Extreme Duty rods are quite s bit stronger and use the best hardware, ARP 625+. They are twice the price though and most likely not needed. They are rated for 1,200 HP much more than the Carillo standard rods, not sure about your custom units.

The higher-stroke cranks shouldn't have any clearance issues since the cranks' throws themselves aren't being extended, just offset-ground, but I could be missing something.
